Fall CSA Week 7: Rutabaga has Arrived! 10/28/2015 Many thanks to everyone who came to the farm party and helped us celebrate the end of the growing season and the beginning of our new pavilion. We loved sharing the festivities with you and hope you'll join us for next year's CSA and harvest season. This week we very sadly say goodbye to two of our crew members, Evelyn and Nelson. Farm apprenticeships generally last one year, so we always know we'll be sending our crew off for new adventures in the fall, but it's never easy. We grow so attached

Fall CSA Week 5: Frost is Coming! 10/14/2015 After this weekend, things will look dramatically different on the farm (and possibly in your yard too!). A frost is expected for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. While frosts certainly don't mark the end of the season for us, they do change things. What's the hardest hit crop? Flowers, for sure. They'll all be gone after the cold hits. An we'll need to start covering more delicate crops like lettuce and Swiss chard each night with row cover. We'll actually look forward to the changes the
